พระบรมศาสดาประทับยืนที่เหนือศีรษะของท่าน ตรัสให้เห็นทุกข์เห็นโทษของสังขารร่างกายนี้ว่า "กายของเธอนี้อยู่อีกไม่นาน เพราะจะปราศจากวิญญาณแล้ว หาอุปการะมิได้ อีกไม่นานต้องนอนบนแผ่นดิน เหมือนท่อนไม้ที่ไม่มีประโยชน์"
