What is Merit?
Merit means ‘goodness’ or ‘happiness’ It is something which, if it arises in the mind, will cause the mind to become pure and free of cloudiness

A wise person will behave in the following ways: 1. They will support others to do the right thing and encourage them to reject negative habits e.g. smoking, drinking alcohol, using drugs and stealing

การกระทำกุศลของมนุษย์นั้นแตกต่างกัน คนที่มีศรัทธาและมีปัญญา มีความเชื่อเรื่องบุญ เรื่องบาป ย่อมสามารถสร้างบุญได้มาก ได้ประณีต ได้ละเอียด และปลื้มปีติในบุญมากกว่าบุคคลที่ทำบุญเพราะทำตามประเพณี หรือทำบุญเพื่อหวังผลบางอย่าง
